LRU OUTDOOR CLUB MAY 2012
Canoe and kayak trips after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays the month of May
Cold, rain, and wind are factors that affect where and when our actual excursions take place. You may bring your own boat(s), paddle(s), and/or life jackets, but transport needs to be worked out prior to the trip. PE credit is available for any or all of these activities.

We will always meet at 3:15 in the cafeteria to organize transport and boats for our trips.

THUR 5/10 3:15 – 5:30 BROWNINGTON OR LONG OR BEAN POND
TUE 5/15 3:15 – 6:00 CRYSTAL LAKE
THUR 5/17 3:15 – 6:30 WILLOUGHBY LAKE
TUE 5/22 3:15 – 7:00 CLYDE RIVER TO PENSIONER POND
THUR 5/24 3:15 – 7:00 BARTON RIVER TO SOUTH BAY
Sign up by noon the day of the paddle with Barb King(Guidance) or MarkVan Blunk (Foundations) helps me plan on how many boats, paddles etc to bring.
The public is asked not to hike on the trails till after Memorial weekend. June schedule TBA will also include hiking, backpacking, rappelling, and maybe mountain biking.
